When everyone was taking photos of the cover, of course, I had to take a photo of the GLE ad in the back. What I thought about the performance after the jump.
Admittedly, it turned out to be a slight disappointment. With such raves, I may have set my expectations a little high, but I couldn’t really click with the story (I’ve watched Wizard of Oz before, once, and wasn’t a big fan of it either), and the songs didn’t strike a chord with me. The plot really centered around the need to understand, and remember fondly, the story of Wizard of Oz. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t check it out, as to each their own. This is just what I thought about it.

For my money the Newsies and of course the Book of Mormon were great on Broadway. And what I mean by my money is cut rate tickets from the TKTS booth in Times Square because going to trendy shows is expensive when I’m trying to save up for an Akrapovic for the M3.

I saw this awhile back in Seattle. VERY good show, and the origin of the lion/tin man/straw man was great! I loved it!
That being said; I CANNOT WAIT for the book of Mormon this December!

Fair enough review. I can understand why you didn’t care for it.
I went to see it when it came to town and I did like that it did give an explanation for some characters.
